Weekend Presenter

Mia Glover embarked on her journalism journey in Sydney, where she started her career as a news presenter for two top ratings FM radio stations. Her talent for storytelling soon found her at the forefront of major events, including the Bali Nine executions, the tragic loss of cricketer Phillip Hughes and the gripping Lindt Cafe siege.

A twist of fate led Mia to Canberra in 2015, where she discovered her passion for television journalism. Joining WIN News Canberra, she dove headfirst into the realm of politics, setting the stage for her remarkable career trajectory.

Within just a year, Mia was beckoned to join 9News Gold Coast. Here, she reported on crime, court cases, and natural disasters, like Cyclone Debbie, and the Dreamworld tragedy. Mia's versatility was on full display as she seamlessly stepped into the roles of news presenter and weather presenter.

In March 2018, Mia joined 9News Brisbane as a senior reporter. Her coverage extended to high-profile cases and trials, including the pivotal Dreamworld inquest.

Becoming a mother in 2020 didn't slow Mia down. She embraced her role as Queensland Correspondent for the TODAY show, delivering compelling reports on Brisbane's 2022 major floods and jet-setting to Rome to cover Qantas' historic direct flights from Australia to Italy.

In early 2023, Mia stepped up to the helm of the 9News Queensland weekend bulletin, ensuring Queenslanders received the news that truly mattered. Mia thrives off bringing Queenslanders' stories to life each weekend, while continuing her TODAY show commitments.
