TV doctor Michael Mosely almost made it to safety before collapsing

British TV presenter Michael Mosley almost made it to safety before collapsing where his body was found on rocky terrain in the Greek Island of Symi, according to UK media reports.
Mosely, 67, was on holiday and taking a popular walk from Saint Nikolas Beach to Symi town when he went missing last week.
Mosley's wife, Dr Clare Bailey Mosley, said in a statement her husband took the wrong route on the hike and collapsed in a place where his body couldn't easily be seen.

According to the UK's Sun newspaper, CCTV footage shows Mosley sinking to the ground about 100 metres from Agia Marina's shoreline and beach resort.
In the grainy clip, the TV doctor could be seen making his way towards a wall and barbed wire fence before suddenly going down, The Sun reported.
It is not clear whether Mosley collapsed or fell after hiking in the searing heat for more than two hours.
He was not on a designated pathway.
Earlier CCTV shows Mosley in the town of Pedi carrying an umbrella to ward off the harsh sun.
Pedi is roughly halfway along the route of Mosley's intended hike and it is believed he made a wrong turn heading out of the town.

Mosley was a health guru who was well-known in Britain for his regular appearances on television and radio and for his column in the Daily Mail newspaper.
He is known outside the UK for his 2013 book The Fast Diet, which he co-authored with journalist Mimi Spencer.
The "5:2 diet" set out how people can lose weight fast by minimising their calorie intake for two days in a week while eating healthily on the other five.
Mosley's body was found yesterday on the rocky coast by a private boat and formal identification is still pending.
"Michael was an adventurous man, it's part of what made him so special,"
Mosley's wife paid tribute to her husband said in a statement.
"It's devastating to have lost Michael, my wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband," she said.
"We had an incredibly lucky life together. We loved each other very much and were so happy together."
She thanked the people of the island of Symi – where a search and rescue operation had been underway since Wednesday – who she said worked tirelessly to find him.
"Some of these people on the island, who hadn't even heard of Michael, worked from dawn till dusk unasked," she said.
"My family and I have been hugely comforted by the outpouring of love from people from around the world. It's clear that Michael meant a huge amount to so many of you."
