Qantas has unveiled the plane that will take the Australian Olympic Team to Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner has a green and gold "Go Australia" decal stuck to its side in support of the team.
The Dreamliner will carry 450 Olympians and 170 Paralympians from Perth Airport to Paris on a direct flight, which will be just a bit shorter than the 17-hour route Qantas flies from Perth to London.
Qantas is also asking its pilots for submissions of interest to fly the plane to Paris and back.
Five-time Olympian Melissa Wu told 9News the unveiling of the jet made her excited for Paris 2024.
"We're fresh off our Olympic trial, so finding out I made the team and then this...the hype's building now, I'm getting really excited, I can't wait," Wu said.
The Olympic Games start on July 26 while the Paralympics start on August 28.
