Man charged, woman fighting for life after alleged ute crash in Brisbane

A man has been charged over an alleged ute crash that left a woman fighting for her life in south-west Brisbane.
Police said an allegedly stolen Toyota Hilux crash left the road, rolled and crashed into a fence on Paradise Road in Pallara about 3.20am yesterday.
A 24-year-old woman was removed from the dual-cab utility and rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The alleged driver, a 27-year-old man from Collingwood Park, has today been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing grievous bodily harm whilst adversely affected by an intoxicating substance whilst excessively speeding.
He will face Brisbane Magistrates Court later today.
Police said investigations are ongoing and asked anyone in the area to review any footage they may have of the Toyota Hilux.
