Sarah Ferguson has been diagnosed with skin cancer just months after being treated for breast cancer.
The Duchess of York revealed she had removed a mole on her body, which tested as a malignant melanoma, in a statement.
"Following her diagnosis with an early form of breast cancer this summer, Sarah, Duchess of York has now been diagnosed with malignant melanoma," the statement read.
"Her dermatologist asked that several moles were removed and analysed at the same time as the duchess was undergoing reconstructive surgery following her mastectomy, and one of these has been identified as cancerous."
Ferguson, the former wife of Prince Andrew and the mother of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, had been diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer in June 2023.
The statement said she remained in "high spirits".

"She is undergoing further investigations to ensure that this has been caught in the early stages," the statement said.
"Clearly, another diagnosis so soon after treatment for breast cancer has been distressing but the duchess remains in good spirits."
Melanoma is an aggressive type of skin cancer that can spread to other areas of the body.
It typically starts on skin that's exposed to the sun.
