Across Australia, hundreds of residents had their lives changed when they cashed in on major lottery winnings.
In 2023, about 500 lucky people won a combined $1.52 billion in division one prizemoney.
Here are the hotspots in each state and territory where the most winning tickets were sold.
In Tasmania, Howrah in the Hobart area had two people cash in on division one lottery wins last year.
The Australian Capital Territory suburb of Gungahlin also had two winning tickets.
In the Top End, the outer Darwin suburb of Coolalinga had two winners cash in.
There were two suburbs in South Australia that had several division one winners.
Woodcroft and Mawson Lakes in Adelaide had two winning tickets each.
In Queensland, the Gold Coast suburbs of Nerang and Pacific Pines had three lucky people buy winning entries.
Out west, the outer Perth suburb of Spearwood sold three winning entries.
In New South Wales, four winning entries were sold in the Illawarra suburb of Dapto, which is just south of Wollongong.
And in Sydney, the western suburb of Berala made another four people lucky winners.
Heading south to Victoria, Melbourne had the most lottery wins in the country.
The city and its suburbs of Berwick, Doreen and Broadmeadows all had three division one winners each for a total of 12.
