Police have said they believe the death of a 29-year-old man whose body was found in a Gold Coast park this morning was likely non-suspicious.
Police were called to Glennon Park, near Pappas Way, in Nerang about 6.30am after a call was made to report that a body had been found.
The man was found with severe burns to his body.
A crime scene was established at the park while officers investigated.
"Police are awaiting the results of a post mortem to determine the man's cause of death," Queensland Police said in a statement.
"The death is being treated as non-suspicious and police will prepare a report for the coroner."
Investigations are ongoing.
