Driver follows man on bus before 'deliberately' mowing him down in WA

A man has been hospitalised after he was allegedly followed by a stranger and intentionally mown down by a car south-east of Perth. 
Police said a man aged in his 30s was approached by an unknown man at a bus stop on Peels Place in Albany about 12.30pm yesterday. 
The victim hopped on the bus, which the stranger allegedly tailed in a grey Mitsubishi Triton.

Police said the man got off the bus at a stop on Albany Highway, where the pursuing man then mounted a curb and "deliberately" hit him with his car.
"The unknown male failed to stop and continued driving in a north-east direction on Albany Highway," police said. 
Paramedics were called to the scene and took the victim to Albany Hospital for medical treatment.
Police are investigating the incident and have sought public assistance.
