Michael Mosley's wife 'breathtaken' by public response to husband's death

The wife of late doctor and broadcaster Michael Mosley has thanked the public for what she described as the breathtaking response to her husband's death.
In an interview with BBC radio in the UK, Dr Clare Bailey Mosley said the reaction far surpassed what she expected.
"To be honest, I'm still kind of breathtaken by the response from people across the country, across the world," she said.

"It's just extraordinary.
"He was quite a sort of quiet, humble man, and to have that sort of response is just extraordinary."
Bailey Mosley also said the support of her children has been crucial.
"My children have been just incredible," she said.
"I can't tell you how much support they've given me and joy as well (in) really difficult times, and family and friends."

In a statement posted on Instagram early this morning, Bailey Mosley said her family is "trying to put our lives back together without Michael and it's very hard".
"We sincerely hope that we can continue to share his positive message going forward," she said.
"Because while we are learning to live without Michael, he is ever-present through the lives that he touched and the difference he made."
Mosley was found dead days after going missing while on a walk in high heat on the Greek island of Symi last month.
An autopsy concluded that he died from natural causes and that there were no injuries on his body that could have caused his death.
Bailey Mosley's interview with the BBC came ahead of the broadcaster honouring her husband in TV and radio coverage today, encouraging people to do "just one thing" to improve their wellbeing.
Mosley was the host of the Just One Thing podcast.
"The BBC's celebration of Michael's life tomorrow with 'Just One Thing Day' is wonderful," Bailey Mosley said in her Instagram post.
"A day dedicated to the impact he had on people's lives and to celebrate his legacy within broadcasting and beyond – it's humbling and delightful all at once.
"We are so grateful."
