Man doing double the speed limit in Sydney tells police 'needed to use the washroom'

A man who was found going almost double the speed limit in Sydney told police he "needed to use the washroom".
NSW Police Force Traffic and Highway Patrol Command detected a white Subaru going 111kph in the 60kph signposted speed zone on Parramatta Road in Burwood last month.
When stopped on Friday June 28 at 11.20pm he told police that he needed to "use the washroom".

But the excuse didn't wash with cops, who fined him $2,764.
He also had his driving licence suspended for six months.
He didn't own the car, police said.
