Teen charged with murder after Acacia Ridge stabbing victim dies in hospital

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with murder after a fatal alleged stabbing in Brisbane's south in May.
Police will allege the boy was involved in an altercation with a 19-year-old man outside a home on Gregory Street at Acacia Ridge around 2.30pm on May 17.
The younger boy allegedly produced a knife and stabbed the man multiple times.
A man is fighting for his life while another is in custody after an alleged stabbing near a Brisbane school.

The victim was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition but succumbed to his injuries on June 18.
The 17-year-old was previously charged with attempted murder, threatening violence, and possession of a knife in a public space.
His charge was upgraded to murder at Richlands Childrens Court today.
He is due to reappear on August 29.
