Washinton made $24 million last year after a career spanning four decades.
His most recent movies include The Equalizer franchise and Gladiator 2.
9. Ben Affleck
Affleck earned $38 million by starring in Hypnotic in 2023.
His name has been prominent in headlines after marrying Jennifer Lopez in 2022 and divorcing Jennifer Garner in 2018.

Statham earned $41 million last year and tied for seventh place.
In 2023 he starred in Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre and Expend4bles.

DiCaprio also made $41 million.
The long-time movie star is known for his roles in Titanic, Romeo + Juliet, The Great Gatsby and Wolf of Wall Street.
He starred in Killers of the Flower Moon in 2023.
6. Jennifer Aniston
Aniston is the second highest-paid woman on the list at $42 million.
The Friends actress starred alongside Adam Sandler in Murder Mystery 2 in 2023.

The Barbie star earned $43 million thanks to the film's blockbuster success.

Damon earned the same as Gosling at $43 million for Oppenheimer, with the actor taking a lower-than-normal salary of $4 million in exchange for a percentage of the profits, according to Forbes.
3. Tom Cruise
The Hollywood heavyweight earned $45 million last year for starring in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.
2. Margot Robbie
Queensland's own Margot Robbie has taken out the second spot after she starred and co-produced Barbie.
She took home $59 million, according to Forbes.
1. Adam Sandler
Sandler was the highest-paid actor last year after he starred in Murder Mystery 2.
He earned a huge $73 million.
