Police have returned to the property where they believe a woman's body was picked up by a waste company in Melbourne's north last week.
Staff at Repurpose It, a waste facility in Epping, made the grim discovery while moving green waste on Wednesday.
It took police three days to work out who she was and where she came from, with homicide detectives making their way inside a property in Coolaroo, looking for more answers over the weekend.
Repurpose It chief executive George Hatzimanolis said staff members were left "shaken" after making the discovery.
"We are deeply saddened to confirm that a body was discovered in the FOGO delivery shed at our facility last Wednesday," he said in a statement.
"Our staff members who made this tragic discovery are understandably shaken, and we are ensuring they receive the support and counselling they need.
"We ask for privacy and understanding for our employees as we navigate through this challenging situation. We are fully cooperating with the police as they conduct their investigations."
It comes as police spent the last several days scouring the property for evidence.
It's believed the unidentified woman only moved into the house about eight weeks ago and lived alone.
Homicide detectives said their investigation remains ongoing.
